Full-Stack Engineer @ Dexxter

Every day, over 25,000 freelancers and small business owners rely on Dexxter to run their businesses. Every month, thousands more join. As our Full-Stack Engineer with 7+ years of software development experience, your code directly impacts their livelihood, giving them the peace of mind to focus on their passion.

You will join a small engineering team (4 engineers + our CTO) where your voice matters. In the tech world, speed and innovation are vital. Because we handle financial data, absolute precision is everything. We don't just build fast, we build with immense care.

We don’t believe in heavy bureaucracy or assembly-line ticketing. You will take true end-to-end ownership of product features, from initial spark to production:

Design & Deliver: Build features independently or pair programming across the entire lifecycle (Frontend → Backend → database → Infrastructure).
Problem Solve: Systematically dive into the architecture when things don’t go as expected.
Shape the Future: Proactively pitch ideas to elevate our architecture, system reliability, and overall developer experience.
Collaborate & Grow: We succeed as one team, not a loose group of individuals. You will actively challenge, support, and grow your colleagues through open, respectful feedback.

Our Tech Stack

You will work full-stack in a modern, serverless AWS environment:

Core: Node.js & Vue 3
Infrastructure: AWS ecosystem with Pulumi: AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, SES, OpenSearch, …

Who You Are

Bring around 7+ years of software development experience and a product-first mindset.
Possess deep experience with Node.js. Experience with AWS is preferred, though strong GCP or Azure skills are welcome too.
Confidently roll out and monitor functionalities in live production systems.
Proficiency in Dutch.
Thrive in a hybrid setup: 2 days at our energetic office in Mechelen, with the freedom to work from home on the other days.
